Call For Papers

The 53rd Annual National Radio Science Meeting (NRSM 2027) will be held January 5 - 8, 2027 in Boulder, Colorado. The meeting is sponsored by the U.S. National Committee for the International Union of Radio Science (USNC-URSI) and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE AP-S).

The 2027 National Radio Science Meeting will include scientific sessions, a plenary session, an invited Hans Liebe Lecture, commission meetings, workshops and short courses, exhibits, a Women in Radio Science reception, a student paper competition, a student mentoring luncheon, and other special events.

Authors are invited to submit original work relating to the ten USNC-URSI Commissions. Authors may submit either a one-page abstract or a two-page summary. Abstracts must contain a minimum of 250 words, while summaries are limited to two pages.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Commission A: Electromagnetic Metrology
• Commission B: Fields and Waves
• Commission C: Radio Communication Systems and Signal Processing
• Commission D: Electronics and Photonics
• Commission E: Electromagnetic Environment and Interference
• Commission F: Wave Propagation and Remote Sensing
• Commission G: Ionospheric Radio and Propagation
• Commission H: Waves in Plasmas
• Commission J: Radio Astronomy
• Commission K: Electromagnetics in Biology and Medicine

Paper Submission:

Authors have the choice of electronically submitting either a one-page abstract or a two-page summary. Abstracts must have a minimum of 250 words and summaries are limited to two pages. Submissions should follow the official NRSM 2027 templates and submission instructions.

In order for an abstract or summary to be included in the proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore, at least one author must be registered and the corresponding presentation must be delivered in person at the meeting.

Publication:

Authors may choose to have their one-page abstracts or two-page summaries archived in IEEE Xplore. To be included in the proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore, at least one author must be registered and the corresponding presentation must be delivered in person. Papers that are not presented at the meeting will not be included in IEEE Xplore.
