72nd IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM 2026)
December 12–16, 2026, California, USA
Scope & Topics
IEEE IEDM 2026 is the world's premier international conference on
electron devices, semiconductor technologies, and emerging device innovations.
The conference provides an international forum for researchers, engineers,
scientists, and industry professionals to present breakthrough research and
exchange ideas on advanced electronic devices and integrated technologies.
IEDM covers the latest developments in semiconductor devices, materials,
manufacturing technologies, circuit-device interaction, artificial intelligence,
advanced packaging, memory technologies, power electronics, quantum devices,
and future computing technologies.
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers describing
significant advances in electron devices, device technologies, fabrication,
modeling, characterization, and emerging applications.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit original four-page research papers through the official IEDM submission system. Papers must present significant technical innovations, experimental results, and clear advances beyond the current state-of-the-art. All submissions must be prepared in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF format and will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.
Publication
Accepted papers will be published in the official IEEE IEDM Conference Proceedings and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. IEDM continues to be one of the most prestigious conferences for presenting groundbreaking research in semiconductor devices and microelectronics.
