IWPR was established in 2016 and was successfully held in Tokyo (2016), Singapore (2017, Nanyang Technological University), Jinan (2018, sponsored by University of Jinan), Nanjing (2019, sponsored by Southeast University), Virtual Conference (2020), Beijing (2021, sponsored by Beijing Technology and Business University), Virtual Conference (2022, sponsored by Huaqiao University), Xiamen (2023, sponsored by Huaqiao University), Xiamen (2024, sponsored by Huaqiao University), Singapore (2025, sponsored by Sensors and Systems Society of Singapore). In the last ten years, IWPR attracted attendees from more than 15 countries. It was praised for the richness of its social networking, was widely recognized for its continuous adaptation to emerging technical trends, and attracting numerous industry and academic players. The IWPR encompasses all technical aspects of specifying, developing and evaluating the theoretical underpinnings and applied mechanisms of the AI-based components of computer tools such as algorithms, architectures and languages.
